Hormonal Evaluation
The appropriate measurement of hormones, their interpretation, the right usage of tests are all important parts of reproductive treatment. Hormonal evaluations are usually used as a part of infertility testing. Many tests are used to evaluate hormone function and ovarian reserve (the number of follicles and quality of eggs). Reproductive hormones like FSH, LH and estradiol are usually measured on the third day of the menstrual cycle. This process helps the fertility experts to access the patient’s ovarian reserve or a patient’s ability to produce quality eggs.
